Australian Wildfires

As you may have heard recently, a tragic series of wildfires has erupted on the eastern coastal regions of Australia. As the fire is still ongoing at this point in time we don’t know the extent of the damage just yet but we know that it has affected multiple millions of acres of land including many cities and towns that have been damaged and cut off from access. The Navy was even deployed to rescue people from coastal towns which had been blocked in by the fires. It has also been reported that the fires have destroyed a huge swath of animal habitats and killed nearly half a billion animals.
